The B.Ed. Program aims to train teachers for the schools in the government/private sector in India. The curriculum and evaluation systems adopted by the college are similar to those used in the typical Colleges of Education. Emphasis is given to the development of domain knowledge and teaching skills. They take foundational and experiential coursework to enable them to meet the students with linguistic, cultural, learning and behavioral diversity. Senior/Guest Lecturer for different kinds of seminar to improve students theoretical and presentation knowledge for their future.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a programme which extends over a period of two academic year consisting of 4 semesters. The duration of the first semester is of 16 weeks and second semester of 18 weeks (Minimum duration for practice teaching in the second semester shall be 4 weeks which excludes micro teaching.) (200 working days). Third semester internship is of 16 weeks and the Fourth semester is of 18 weeks (200 working days).

A citizen of India who has passed any Bachelor’s degree examination of Bangalore University or any University in India or abroad recognized as equivalent through (10+2+3/4/5 pattern of education who has obtained 50% of marks I aggregate of all the subjects he/she studied for degree is eligible for admission to B.Ed., programme.
The candidate with less than 50% aggregate in the degree, but a Master Degree with 50% is also eligible for B.Ed. Programme.
In the case of SC/St, Category -1 and physically challenged student 45% marks in aggregate of all the subjects he/she has studied for degree course or 45% in post graduation.
The Duration of study for B.Ed. CBCS Semester Programme shall extend over a period of two years with four semesters of total 96 credits. The first semester shall be 24 credits, second semester shall be for 24 credits, third semester shall be for 24 credits and the fourth semester shall be for 24 credits.
The Medium of Instruction is either English or Kannada.
